The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats traveled to Vandalia yesterday and dominated to the tune of a 49-4 final score. 11 Lady Cats scored led by Maci Susmena with 8, Kinsley Gansauer and Lexie Malan added 6. The Salem JV also won 36-24. Kenna Benjamin had 14, Malan added 13 and Madi Spencer chipped in 6.
Also in girls hoops, Nashville beat Okawville 38-32, St Joe Olney beat Sacred Heart 42-30.
In boys middle school basketball, St Mary’s/Willow Grove improved to 2-0 with a 66-10 win over Kelly. Tucker Aydt scored 20, Griffin Knowles added 12 and Callen Williams 11. They will be back in action at the CHS Shootout on Saturday.
Also, Carbondale beat Charleston, Missouri 64-34 and Wayne City over Bluford 54-17.
