Mt. Vernon Police say three people were shot outside a home at 1105 Lamar Street late Saturday night. A suspect who was known by the three is currently being sought.
Police say all three were taken to a local hospital and at least two were later airlifted to regional hospitals for treatment of gunshot wounds. All three are said to be adults from Mt. Vernon, but no other information is being released.
Police have not released any details on how many total shots were fired or what may have led to the shooting.
Police were called to the home at 11:33 Saturday night.
