Daisy King, 77, of Sandoval, IL, passed away on Thursday, September 5th, 2024 at her home.

She was born on Saturday, March 15th, 1947 in Mclellan Township, IL, the daughter of Jesse L. Childers and Alta Mae (Brown) Childers. She married Alva “Bud” King on September 14, 1963, and he survives her in Sandoval.

In addition to her husband Bud of 61 years, Daisy is survived by her son Rodney King of Sandoval, and her daughter Stephanie Karrick of Sandoval. She is also survived by four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her siblings Jesse Childers and Mary of Junction City, Randy Childers of Centralia, Ricky Childers of Mt. Vernon, Donna Koch and Richard of Opdyke, as well as her brother and sister-in-law Roger King and Shirley of Centralia, and Susie King of Centralia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Daisy was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sisters-in-law: Betty King, John King, and Carol King.

Daisy enjoyed reading, motorcycles, and you could see her drinking a Pepsi at any time. She was a member of The Rock Church in Centralia. Her grandchildren meant the world to her.

Funeral Services will be held at The Rock Church in Centralia on Monday, September 9th, 2024 at11:00 am with Pastor Steve Upchurch officiating with a visitation prior from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Church on Monday. Burial will be in Andereck-McClelland Cemetery in Sandoval.
