Nancy A. Hanks, 66, of Centralia, passed away on September 2, 2024, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
She was born in Nampa, Idaho on December 7, 1957, to Jack and Hazel (Garrett) Moore.
In 1982 she married Walter Hanks Sr. and he survives in Centralia.
Also surviving is her mother, Hazel Moore of Missouri; five sons, Jay Moore of Missouri, Kevin Ayres and Michael Ayers of North Dakota, Matthew Ayres of Centralia and Walter Hanks Jr. of Kansas; five sisters, Irene Samson of Missouri, Debbie Striker of Centralia, Bonnie Cage, Tammie Rogers and Kim Tubbs all of Missouri; two brothers, Noble Moore and James Moore of Missouri; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Jack Moore and a brother, Jackie Moore.
Cremation Rites will be accorded and a private memorial service will be held at a later date in Missouri.
