Gerald “Jerry” Hodges, 73, of Alton, formerly of Centralia, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Nature Trail Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon.
He was born in Centralia on August 3, 1951, to James Hodges and Dola Gaultrey.
Jerry is survived by two sisters, Doris Peper of Iuka and Linda Baumann of Centralia; a brother, James Hodges, of Centralia and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Judy Wilkey and Karen Stanord.
Jerry served in the Navy. He enjoyed mowing his yard, playing pool, and dancing.
Per his wishes, Cremation Rites will be accorded and no public service will be held.
