Thomas Bradley Woodcock, Sr. 60, of Bluford, Illinois, passed away at 1:32 pm August 11, 2024, at his residence. He was born December 31, 1963, in Hayti, Missouri to Thomas Herbert and Connie (Townsend) Woodcock. Thomas married Gayla (Poole) Woodcock on June 19, 2004.
Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of twenty years, Gayla Woodcock; mother, Connie Woodcock; children, Dustin Eckles, Leslie Duffield and husband, Jeremy, B.J. Woodcock and wife, Cassie, Kelsey Rowland and husband, Nate, Hannah Kuenstler and husband, Preston; grandchildren, Alyssa and Logan Duffield, Aubria Eckles, Mac Dulaney, Ryleigh, Wesson, Marleigh, and Case Woodcock, and Hazel Kuenstler expected in September; and sister, Diane Ballard.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Herbert Woodcock, Jr., and brother-in-law, Jerry Ballard.
Thomas worked as a project technician at Continental Tire in Mount Vernon. He loved to cook, and camp, could fix anything, and enjoyed the outdoors. Thomas was very family-oriented and loved his wife, and family, especially his grandkids. He will be dearly missed.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 10:30 am at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Mr. Denzil McClintock officiating. Interment will follow at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City, Illinois.
