Salem Police arrested 19-year-old Jacqueline Schmiedeke of Salem Mobile Home Park Tuesday night for alleged domestic battery. She reportedly was involved in an altercation at her residence with her boyfriend. Schmiedeke was taken to Salem Township Hospital to be checked before being taken to the Marion County Jail.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a 1988 model car that had no license plates and had not moved in several years from property on the 3200 block of Bryant Lane southwest of Salem.
