Makenzie Hopper, 29, of Bloomington, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
She was born in Collinsville, Illinois on July 4, 1995, to Alan Hopper and Lydia Smith.
Makenzie is survived by her grandparents, Gary and Maggie Hopper of Centralia; a brother, Eli Mustafa of South Carolina; aunts and uncles, Valerie Michael and husband Layne, Amber West and husband Brian, Cory Hopper and Chrystal, all of Centralia; and several great aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alan Hopper; great Aunt and Uncle, Rhonda and Terry Hatcher; and her great grandparents Royal and Bettyrose Hopper.
Makenzie loved singing while she played her guitar. She cherished the time she spent with her family.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on August 10, 2024, from 11 am-12 pm at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia.
