A 37-year-old Salem woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash on the 600 block of Green Street Road just east of Central City on Christmas Eve morning.
Initial information from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department indicates Morgan McGee ran off the road for an unknown reason, crossed the roadside ditch and came to stop on the other side. She was unconscious inside the car when sheriff’s deputies arrived. A window was broken out to get her out of the vehicle. McGee was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
No one else was in the vehicle and no other car was involved.
The crash occurred at 9:25 Thursday morning.
