A 38-year-old Kinmundy man faces three criminal charges following a series of incidents that began with an alleged domestic battery at his home.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Kylee Julius of O’Leary Road was being taken into custody for alleged domestic battery for intentionally striking a family member in the left eye when he allegedly resisted being handcuffed and attempted to run. As a result, a charge of resisting a peace officer was added. A third count of criminal damage to state-supported property was added after he allegedly damaged a rear window of a sheriff’s squad car when being transported to the Marion County Jail.
Bond was set at $10,000. If released on bond, he was ordered to have no contact with the victim of the alleged domestic battery.
Julius had the public defender appointed to represent him.
