A 29-year-old Salem man was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for alleged driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash early Wednesday night.
Initial reports indicate Justin McLean of Texico Lane ran off the Green Street Road east of Colestock Lane, went down an embankment, and struck several trees before coming to a stop. He had walked to the roadway before emergency help arrived.
McLean received minor injuries but declined hospital treatment. He was taken to the Marion County Jail where he posted bond and was released.
The Salem Fire Protection District and United Medical Response were both called to the scene.
