Pamela Kay Truax, 57, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Warren G. Murray Developmental Center in Centralia, Illinois.
She was born November 29, 1966, in Redlands, California, the daughter of Angelina (Zucca) Lapolice.
Pam was preceded in death by her mother and step-father: Angelina and Dick Lapolice, sister: Penny Lee Truax, and uncle: John Zucca.
She is survived by aunts and uncles: Bill and Lorei Zucca of Clinton, Indiana, Shirley Moody of Westville, Illinois, Harold Zucca of Clinton, Indiana, Rosealee and Rick Cox of Clinton, Indiana, Rosena Stimac of Danville, Illinois and several cousins.
Pam is also survived by her Murray Center Family, where she lived for 20 years. She was a beloved resident of Fir Cottage, where she enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley’s music and renaming those who cared for her.
Pamela will be laid to rest at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
