Janice Mary Scarbrough, 82, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 3:45 am December 8, 2020 at her home. Janice did clerical work for Scarbrough Building Products. She is dearly loved by her family and friends and will be missed.

Janice is survived by two sons, Quincy Scarbrough and wife, Jenny of Mount Vernon, and Jeff Scarbrough and wife, Amy of Mount Vernon; daughter, Michelle Van Zandt and husband, Michael “Mike” of O’Fallon, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Codi Scarbrough, Carter Scarbrough, Chandler Scarbrough, Courtney Scarbrough, Trace Scarbrough, Cade Scarbrough, and Tristan Van Zandt; four great-grandchildren, Presley, Achaius, Maximus, and Lucas; brother, Jim Bonner of Eldorado; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Don Chapman; and sister-in-law, Carla.
She was born January 30, 1938 in Centralia, Illinois to the late Thomas and Fern (Toedte) Bonner. Janice was married to Clarence Harold Scarbrough and he preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Janice was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Bonner and Jack Bonner and sister, Shirley Chapman.
