Ramona H. Beckman, 92, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at November 27, 2020 at White Oak Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Mount Vernon. Ramona was a member of South Hickory Hill Christian Church. She is dearly loved by her family, friends, and caretakers at White Oak Rehabilitation and Health Care Center and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A Family Graveside Service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 1:00 pm at South Hickory Hill Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Mr. Randy Sells officiating. Interment will follow. Ramona is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins, including Jan Isom and wife, Renee of Mount Vernon, Illinois and David Hofer and wife, Susan of Mount Vernon.
She was born November 16, 1928 in Jefferson County to the late Joe V. and Lucy M. (Wells) Beckman. In addition to her parents, Ramona was preceded in death by her brothers, Calvin Beckman and Merritt Beckman and sisters, Vereta M. Beckman, Evalena Beckman, and Glodene Goble.
