Lisa Jean Miller, 63, of Benton, Illinois, passed away at 3:40 pm on May 21, 2024, at Franklin County Hospital in Benton, Illinois.
She was born May 8, 1961, in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Charles Edward and Marjorie Irene (Roy) Miller.
Lisa is survived by her brother, Paul Edward Miller of Mount Vernon, Illinois; sisters, Linda Louise Butler and husband, Herb of Dahlgren, Illinois and Elizabeth Ann Shewmake of Opdyke, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by her sister, Lillie Mae Harrington.
Lisa worked as a manager at McDonalds and later a CNA. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the Eagles Club in Benton. Lisa loved Elvis, the outdoors, camping, and fishing. She was loving sister and will be dearly missed.
A Visitation will be held Friday, May 24, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 10:00 am at South Hickory Hill Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Jeremy Hamson officiating. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Lisa’s honor to Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
