W. “Jean” Engelmeier, 91, of Flora, Illinois passed away November 19, 2020 at the Flora Garden of Memories. Following high school graduation, she attended Richard Academy studying beauty culture. Following graduation, she owned Jean’s Beauty Shop. She enjoyed her home, and caring for her family.
The family chose cremation, and will arrange for a graveside service to be held in 2021. Surviving are her son, Micheal Wayne (Kristal) Engelmeier of Flora, along with 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Also left to mourn her passing are her siblings Jess, Shirley, Sue and Mary Helen.
Born April 18, 1929 in Flora, she was the daughter of Clifford E. and Ola N. (Lents) Eaton. She married Harvey B. Engelmeier, October 5, 1946 in Flora and he preceded her in death October 6, 2015. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Linda Sue Woomer (1997).
