The Clinton County Health Department is reporting a total of eight deaths from COVID-19 related causes on Wednesday and Thursday.   The department reports the deaths include a male in his 50s who is the second Centralia Correctional Center inmate to pass away.  The other seven identified as four females in their 80s and males in their 70s, 80s and 90s were all long term care residents at several facilities.  There have now been 44 deaths in Clinton County from COVID-19 related cases.

The Clinton County Health Department is also reporting 118 new cases over the past two days.  There are now 480 on home isolation and 16 in the hospital.

The state is also reporting another COVID-19 related death in Wayne County.  The man was in his 80s. There were also 25 new positive cases on Thursday ranging from a female child, five teens to a male and female in their 80s.  The health department reports 92 people are on home isolation and four who are hospitalized as a result of COVID-19.

The Jefferson County Health Department is reporting 38 new positives on Thursday.  They ranged from a female under 13 to two male teens up to a male in his 90s.  A long term care male resident of a long term care facility and a female in her 80s are both hospitalized.  There are now 283 active cases.

The Washington County Health Department is reporting 23 new lab-confirmed cases on Tuesday and Wednesday ranging in age from one teenage male to a male and female in their 80s.  There are currently 74 active cases.

The Fayette County Health Department is reporting 14 confirmed and 58 probable cases in the past two days.

The Clay County Health Department is reporting 22 new cases for Wednesday, with two currently being hospitalized.
