Marion County Health Department offers tips to monitor yourself if you test positive

By News Nov 9, 2020 | 8:44 PM

The Marion County Health Department says they are inundated with positive COVID-19 cases.

If you have tested positive and have not heard from the health department yet, you are asked to take the following steps.

Positive cases need to stay in isolation at home. Household contacts of positive cases should also be quarantined at home. Any close contacts to a positive case should also self-quarantine at home.

During isolation or quarantine, self monitor yourself by checking your temperature daily and watching for signs and symptoms.

The health department will eventually contact you, but due to the high volume of positive cases, it will take time.

If you have any questions, you may call the health department at 618-548-3878.   They are thanking everyone for their patience.
