Marion County Health Department Administrator Melissa Mallow says people going to work sick appears to be the top way COVID-19 is spreading in the county. She reports a number of cases where individuals went to work when beginning to experience the symptoms of COVID-19 and spreading it to other people before conditions worsened and they realized they had the virus. COVID-19 symptoms can mirror those of asthma, cold, or other ailments. Her advice…..if you’re feeling ill stay home.
Mallow’s comments come as the Illinois Department of Public Health has released information on contact tracing statewide.
