Wanda M. Fatheree, age 85 of Salem, passed away on Monday October 26, 2020 at Salem Township Hospital. Wanda worked as a homemaker and helped her husband in many of his jobs. She worked for ADM in Decatur for several years. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Salem and was also one of the church pianist.
Funeral Services for Wanda Fatheree will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Larry Shelton officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Iuka Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home who is assisting the family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Marlene Morrison of Iuka; brothers, Leon Keller of Iuka and Doug Keller of Indiana; grandchildren, Dustin Morrison and fiancé Dani and Dee Schwarm; six great- grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Wanda was born on February 16, 1935 in Salem, IL the daughter of Merle and Opal (Decker) Keller. She married Bill Fatheree on March 15, 1953 in Iuka and he survives in Salem. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Steve Fatheree; and a brother, Allen Keller.
