A 44-year-old Centralia man has been charged in Marion County Court with unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle.  Ryan Richardson of Colestock Road is accused of taking a 2020 Polaris ATV from a residence on Route 37 South of Salem earlier last week.  Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Richardson was in the process of bringing back the alleged stolen ATV at the time he was taken into custody.  The public defender was appointed to represent him and a preliminary hearing was set for May 14th.

Two face new charges of unlawful possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine.  28-year-old Samantha Hall of South Marion in Centralia was arrested on March 3rd.  A preliminary hearing was set for April 18th.  55-year-old Randy Westenhaver of South Poplar in Centralia was arrested on March 12th.  He is extended term eligible due to a past conviction.  A public defender was appointed to represent him with the next hearing set for April 23rd.

A 31-year-old Salem man has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of domestic battery following a Thursday incident where he allegedly pushed a juvenile family member into the wall with his hands and struck the same juvenile in the chest with his hand.  Adam Sanders of East Boone was arrested by Salem Police after they were called to the Emergency Room at Salem Township Hospital where the alleged victim was taken for treatment.  Judge Mark Stedelin rejected a petition to hold Sanders without bond.  However, Sanders was ordered to have no firearm, no contact with a day care and school along with three other people involved in the alleged incident.
