Dorothy Lynch, 92, of Nason, Illinois, passed away at 10:30 am October 22, 2020 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Dorothy enjoyed watching Saint Louis Cardinals baseball and game shows. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and MeMe. Dorothy will be greatly missed by those who knew and adored her.
Private Services will be held. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Dorothy’s honor to the charity of the donor’s choice. Please remember to observe social distancing at this time. Dorothy is survived by her children, Gary Lynch and wife, Sandra of Bonnie Illinois, Ronald Lynch and wife, Natalie of Du Bois, Illinois, and Brenda Anderson of Benton; grandchildren, Ryan Lynch and wife, Jennifer of Ina, Illinois, Rachel Lynch of Bonnie, Megan Czerniejewski of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, Logan Czerniejewski of Wildwood, Missouri, Brandon Anderson and wife, Jessica of Carterville, Illinois, Brett Anderson and wife, Jenn of Mount Vernon, and Heather Webb and husband, Rick of Mount Vernon; special great-grandson and best buddy, Lucas Lynch of Bonnie; and other great-grandchildren, Brianna Anderson, Brycen Anderson, Colton Anderson, Connor Anderson, Jaylyn Ortiz, Kensie Ortiz, Lilly Webb, Mia Webb, and Eli Webb.
She was born January 4, 1928 in Benton, Illinois. Dorothy married Paul Lynch on November 23, 1947 in Benton. They were blessed with nearly 66 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on May 15, 2013. In addition to her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and three sisters.
