Vena Vivian Karch, 81, of Mount Vernon, passed away at 2:10 A.M. October 20, 2020 at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi, Illinois. Vivian was a member of the Apostolic Deliverance Tabernacle where she taught sunday school for years. Some of Vivian’s greatest passions were traveling, planting flowers, and gardening. She loved people, her friends, and was a prayer warrior. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She later married Gary Dean Karch on March 8, 2003 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. In addition to her beloved husband of seventeen years, Vivian is survived by her sons, Charles (Tina) Burton of West Frankfort, Illinois, David Burton, and Jimmy (Joann) Burton, both of Benton, Illinois, and Harold Ray Karch and wife, Kim of Chicago, Illinois; daughters, Debbie (Brian) Clark of Centralia, Illinois, and Pam (Chico) McDonald of Centralia, Illinois, and Faith Hanson and husband Kevin Broadway of Mount Vernon, Illinois; several grandchildren including, Nathanael Karch of Chicago, Illinois, Dakoda Hanson of Salem, Illinois, Tanner Hanson of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Spencer (Aleah) Hanson of Crossville, Illinois, and Destiny (Andrew) Giles of Crossville, Illinois.

She was born September 18, 1939 in Carmi, Illinois. Vivian married Harrell Burton and he preceded her in death.
