Jerry Dean Brannin, 78, of Salem, passed away peacefully at Helia Healthcare of Salem on February 17th, 2024.
He was born on September 11, 1945, in Danville, Illinois to Elmer and Freda (Booth) Brannin.
He is survived by his son: Jimmy Brannin and his partner Rachel from Ogden, Illinois; His brother: Dick (Patti) Brannin of Wisconsin; 8 grandchildren: Makyla Brannin and fiance Robert Fields Jr of Kell, Illinois, Zoei Brannin of Kell, Illinois, Chaz Brannin of Quincy, Illinois, ZenDeya Brannin of Quincy, Illinois, Zayne Brannin of Quincy, Illinois, Shela Carpenter of Kell, Illinois, Alexzander Brown-Bergman of Salem, Illinois, Dillan Brown of Florida; Seven Great Grandkids; along with several nieces and nephews. As well as his 12-year-old cat, Delilah.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Elmer and Freda Brannin; brother Elmer Brannin and sister: Shirley Walton.
Jerry had many interests including, being an avid bowler, love of coin collecting, anything to do with eagles, a sports fanatic at heart especially towards the St. Louis Cardinals, and his grandkids.
Per family wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
