Rosemary Jane Hails, 90 of Woodlawn, Illinois, passed away October 6, 2020 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. It was not unusual to see Rosemary discing behind dad as he plowed the fields. She didn’t make it known, however Rosemary was a good guitar player. She strummed along with Harley many evenings. Rosemary was the kindest sweetest soul you could ever meet. She was a wonderful wife and great mother.She was a really cool mom. Always checking in on the band after each show. She loved her Hails Boys. She will be greatly missed.

Rosemary left behind four children, Margaret Lawrence and husband, Marc of Irvington, Illinois, Billy Joe Hails of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Frank Hails and fiance, Jean Marie Gray of Woodlawn, Illinois, and Gary Hails of Mount Vernon, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Kathy Lawrence, Ora Jane Lawrence, Billy Leon Morgan, BJ Hails, Mahala Hails, Coty Hails, Kelsey Hails, and John Hails; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Rosemary was born on May 1, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois. The daughter of Ed and Gertrude Severs. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Hails; son, Johnny Hails; daughter, Connie Morgan; and grandson, Joey Hails.There are many great memories of Rosemary but here are just a few.
