One person was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment following a two-car crash at West Main and Hotze Road Sunday morning.
Salem Police say a car driven by 82-year-old Virginia Holderly of East 4th in Kinmundy ran the red light while traveling westbound on Main Street. Holderly struck a car in the intersection driven by 48-year-old Christina Logan of North Indiana Street in Salem that was making a left turn from Hotze Road onto eastbound Main Street. Reports indicate Holderly struck the right front driver’s side of the Logan vehicle.
Holderly was taken to Salem Township Hospital while Logan was checked on the scene and refused medical treatment.
Holderly was ticketed for disobeying a traffic control device.
The crash occurred at 9:10 Sunday morning.
