Lena Marie (Halfacre) Michael, age 93 of Kell passed away Monday, February 5, 2024.
She was born December 11, 1930, near Kell the daughter of Everet and Winnie (Simmons) Halfacre. She married Arthur Glen Michael on August 23, 1950, and he survives in Centralia.
Besides her husband Glen, she is survived by daughter-in-law: Lisa Michael, and by 7 grandchildren: Melissa Maynor and husband Brent; Laura Lopez and husband Michael; Andy Laughhunn and fiancé Tia Singer; Suzanne Michael; Keri Stewart and husband Spenser; Thomas Michael and wife Emma; Danae Ringler and husband Joseph and by her 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her children: Robert and Betty Sue Michael; two brothers: Joe and Frank Halfacre; and one sister: Neva Spangler.
Lena was an active member of the Kell Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School and Bible School teacher and also a church pianist. Besides her work as a wife, mother, and grandmother she also worked for many years at the Blankenship store near Kell. She and Glen lived together in the same house for over 70 years.
Private family services will be held following cremation.
