Betty Louise Behnke, 92, of Iuka, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Salem Township Hospital.
She was born May 30, 1931, in Webster, Wisconsin, the daughter of Raymond Franklin Pease and Myrtle (Menke) Pease. On September 15, 1948, in Belvidere, Illinois, she married Robert Joseph Behnke and he preceded her in death in 1991.
Betty is survived by her children: Roger Behnke and wife Rita of Iuka, Randy Behnke and wife Sue of Iuka, and Judith Robertson of Lakewood, Illinois; one grandchild: Chad Robertson of Lakewood, Illinois, several step-grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Raymond and Myrtle Pease, husband: Robert Behnke, two daughters: Vivian Behnke and Janet Behnke, and son-in-law: Donald Robertson.
Betty was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist Faith. Betty was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend.
Per Betty’s wishes, a Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 1:30 PM at the Iuka Cemetery with Pastor Larry Albert officiating.
