The City of Centralia issued 15 building permits totaling $226,786 for the month of July.
The largest permit was to locate a mobile home in the 800 block of North Cherry issued to Rhonda Owens. Roger Campbell was issued a $56,000 permit to install a sign at a building he recently purchased at 302 South Poplar. Freedom Forever was issued a $23,664 permit to locate a solar array at 1300 West Broadway. A permit was issued to Edward and Linda Grist to place a shed valued at $15,457 on Buena Vista Terrace.
The remaining permits were for pool and fence installation at two homes, four other sheds, and three fences.
Three demolition permits were issued during the month, all for 112 East 2nd downtown. They were for the drive-thru, a shed, and a deck.
