The Murray Developmental Center will hold a Job Fair from 11 am to 1 pm on Tuesday at the center as Murray ramps up to hire 200 techs during the next three years as the population is expected to increase with residents being moved out of the Choate Developmental Center.
Murray Center Parents Association President Rita Winkeler says one cottage has been renovated and another is currently not in use ready for renovation. As of now, only seven Choate residents have been moved to Murray as Murray attempts to hire additional Mental Health Technicians.
At the Job Fair, those attending will be able to learn about career options, benefits, and led through the application process that is done on line. There will not be any onsite interviews.
In addition to the many open Mental Health Tech positions, there are also openings for Registered Nurse, Behavior Analyst/Associate, Social Worker, Support Service Worker and Habilitation Program Coordinator.
