A 56-year-old St. Paris, Ohio woman was injured in a motorcycle crash on US 50 near the Kinmundy Road east of Salem early Wednesday evening.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Melissa Grant was taken by private vehicle to Salem Township Hospital where the crash was reported. She was released after treatment.
Deputies say Melissa was a passenger on the motorcycle driven by her husband, 60-year-old Mark Grant, that went out of control when hitting loose gravel. The cycle then slid out from underneath them and came to a stop without damage. Mark Grant escaped injury.
The two were able to climb back on the cycle and continue their trip later in the evening.
The crash occurred at 5:30 Wednesday evening.
