It was a special night at Busch Stadium as it was Centralia Night at the Ballpark. Around 600 Centralia and Cardinals fans along with one Giants fan were in attendance as Former Cardinals Gary Gaetti and former Giants hurler Kirk Rueter threw out the first pitch in a re-enactment of Gary’s last home run in the majors, which he hit of Rueter. Now the two have a good working relationship as part of Gaetti Sports Academy. Castle Ridge and GSA sponsored the event with proceeds going to benefit programs at the Centralia Community Youth Center.
