Salem Elks Lodge #1678 is joining Trail Life Troop #262 (formerly the Boy Scouts) in holding their annual Flag Retirement Ceremony on the grounds of the Salem Elks this Saturday at ten am.
This very solemn ceremony is held across the country near the Flag Day Holiday, June 14th.
The Salem Elks Lodge and Trail Life Troop #262 are in the process of collecting US Flags as well as other ceremonial flags needing to be retired. Flags can be brought to the Salem Elks Lobby before Saturday or you may call 618-548-3087 to arrange pickup.
