Raymond Lee (Dickie) Brown, 75 of Smithland KY formally of Salem IL, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at his son’s home surrounded by his family.
Dickie was born March 17, 1948, in Salem, Illinois to Charley and Geona Neff Brown.
He is survived by his children Tabitha Bradley and Brad Boyles of Iuka, IL, and Mike Brown and Candie Huge of Smithland, KY.
Three grandchildren, Trent (Bethany) Beer of Iuka, IL. Korey Brown of Salem, IL. Karey (Cade) Rose of Salem, IL. Drew Schulte of Carlyle, IL. Three great-grandchildren: Bryer, Axton, and Everleigh. One brother, Elmer Brown of St. Louis, MO. One sister, Mary Phillips of Salem, IL. And several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charley and Geona Neff Brown. A daughter, Julie Ann Brown, and sister Brenda Karrick.
As per his request, there will be no public services. A private burial will be at a later date.
