The Salem Lions Club will be hosting its 86th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at two Sunday afternoon near the stage area in Bryan Memorial Park.

Lion Leon Chapman is chairing the event.

“First I would like the thank the residents and employees at The Manor at Salem Woods for helping the bunny fill all the candy filled eggs. This year we will once again have over 3000 candy filled eggs and there will be 75 prize eggs.  And 6 grand prizes of bicycles and tricycles all together so we are expecting a big crowd.  Don’t come to the park until 1:30, the hunt will start at 2.”

Once again this year there will be three age groups: 2 to 4, 5 to 7, and 8 to 10.

You are asked not to arrive until 1:30 to give the Easter Bunny time to hide all of the eggs.
