Jhyair Malik Ammons, 3 months old, of Centralia, IL, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Cardinal Glennon hospital in St. Louis, Missouri with his family by his side.
He was the son of Roshida Thomas of Centralia and Trey Ammons of Alton, IL. He was born on December 23, 2022.
Jhyair leaves to cherish his parents, his brothers Legennd and Lennox, Grandparents (maternal) Rosalyn Sharkey and Seth Thomas of Centralia and (paternal) Shanon and Juan Mercado, and Corey and Krista Ammons of Alton, IL; Great Grandma Julia Thomas; a host of loving aunties Cora, Denese, Tierra, Kadezia, and a very loving uncle Theo; several cousins and lots of friends that loved and cared for him.
He was preceded in death by his great grandpa Ronald Thomas, great grandma Cora Sharkey, Uncle Rodney Thomas, uncle Craig Burton.
Jhyair touched the lives of everyone that met him, he was loved and will be missed dearly.
The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and staff that took care of him. They appreciate everything you all did for Jhyair and the family.
Funeral Services for Jhyair Ammons will be held Thursday, April 6th, 2023 from 12:00 to 2:00pm at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Jonathan Urshan officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
