The Salem City Council Monday night will complete a review of the remainder of its 2024 Fiscal Year Budget. The council reviewed the general fund budget at its last meeting and will be asked to give approval to the total budget at its April 17th meeting.
The council will hear presentations on entering into a possible lease agreement for municipal vehicles through Enterprise Fleet Services and on the removal of its health care plan with Mutual Medical.
The council will be asked to approve a $25,000 contract with J and M Fireworks Display for the 4th of July display. The Salem Tourism Commission is providing $10,000 to expand the display beyond the normal $15,000 display.
The council will be asked to vacating an alley that runs the block from East Seneff to Dick Street next to the Open Arms Fellowship Church at 1201 North Miller.
The meeting begins at six Monday night at Salem City Hall.
