Kenneth W. Parker, age 92 of Alma, passed away at Salem Township Hospital on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
Kenneth was born on February 10, 1931, in Kinmundy, the son of Albert and Mary (Shuler) Parker. He married Delories Lewis on September 13, 1951, and she preceded him in death on December 28, 2022.
Survivors include his daughter, Evelyn Parker of Alma; son, Wayne Parker of Patoka; grandchildren, Krystal Whipple and significant other Charlie, T.J. Koch, and Kendra Parker; several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Rosie Slater and Alberta Martin and husband Dean.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a grandson, Jarrod Adams; and siblings, Ellen Pergl, Leonard Parker, Vivian Osborne, and John Parker.
Kenneth worked in road construction as part of the union and was a farmer. He was a member of the Moose Lodge. He served in the United States Army during the Korean war.
Funeral Service for Kenneth Parker will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Dr. Andy DeWitt officiating. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery in Alma with Military Rites by the Salem American Legion. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until the time of the service.
