Kurtis “Corky” Ott, 74 of Central City, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at South Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Corky was born July 27, 1948, in Centralia, the son of Francis M. Ott and Louise (Johnson) Ott.
Corky is survived by one brother: Frank Ott and wife Lois of Centralia; one niece: Ashlie Costello and husband Kent of Ballwin, MO; great niece and nephews: Keller Costello, Kash Costello, and Kendalen Costello; hand-picked daughter: Jeron Balazi and husband Brian of Salem; four grandchildren: Killian Merrell, Chance Merrell, Ozzy Balazi, Lauren Balazi.
Corky served in the Marine Corps in Vietnam. Corky enjoyed playing cards with friends, and watching golf and was known for being “one of a kind”. Corky will be missed by all that knew him.
Graveside Services for Kurtis “Corky” Ott will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. Military rites will be held at the gravesite by the American Legion Post #446 and the V.F.W Post 2055.
