He was a former member of the Hoffman Volunteer Fire Department. As he was growing up, Randall was known to tinker with his hands and fix old televisions and radios. He enjoyed being out on the road riding his Gold Wing Motorcycle, and at one time rode with his brothers to Colorado. He can be seen riding his bicycle all over town, either to the grocery stores or to visit his family. He liked quenching his thirst with a cold beer and smoking his cigarettes. He had a strong love for potatoes all through his life, if he ran out of them, he was known to go out to the garden for one. Randall was a kindhearted man who would give you the shirt off his back and he was always helping people out at their time of need. He cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. Randall’s favorite saying was “OH YEAH”.

Randall retired in 2015 from Swan Corporation in Centralia, Illinois, after fifteen years of service as an electrician in the machine maintenance department.
