A passenger in the car, 33-year-old Amber Berry of D’Ann Drive in Centralia, was arrested for possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on an Illinois Department of Corrections warrant.   She was later released pending further investigation.

Police initially stopped the car after Smith allegedly tried to hide his identity in a south-side business parking lot and discovered the vehicle had expired registration.
