Patoka Demolition Derby attracts big crowd and 53 cars

The Patoka Fall Festival Demolition Derby Saturday night attracted 53 cars in the three divisions.

Brandon Dodson of Texico ended up winning best of show.

In the Bone Class, Matthew McCord of Carlyle was first and Brett Quinn of Carlyle was second.

In the compact class, Cole Utlaut of Donnellson was first, Brian Ulmer of Greenville second, and Keith Rinne of Breese third.  In the Semi Stock Class, David Klitzins of Altamont took first, Hoss Atchison of Odin second, and Joe Cripe of Altamont third.

The festival came to an end Sunday morning with a community-wide church service that had to be moved from the park to the Methodist Church due to rain.
