The Marion County Sheriff’s Department has three thefts under investigation.

The Stevenson Township Road Department reported a fuel line was cut and 150 gallons of gasoline were stolen from the township building on Bannister Road east of Salem.

A shed was entered in the 8800 block of State Route 161 Extension in rural Iuka.  A three-drawer Craftsman toolbox and a tub of copper were stolen.  Damage was also done to the building.

The sheriff’s department is also investigating the theft of a car that was parked outside the 51/50 bar in Sandoval.   The owner went outside the bar at 1:40 Saturday morning to find his 2019 Nissan missing.   At last report, the car had not yet been located.
