The Salem girls track team traveled to the Annies Invitational yesterday.  The Annies also celebrated their seniors prior to the competition.  Congratulations to Centralia junior Adariyah Dabney who broke the CHS School record in the 300m hurdles in a time of 47.73.

The Salem Lady Wildcats had a good showing.  Earning 1st place were Carly Veach in the 100 Meter Hurdles (16.80) and Blaike Jourdan in the Pole Vault (8’0”).  Earning 2nd place were Finley Puricelli in the High Jump (5’025”) and 400 Meters (1:01.74), Hannah Smith in the Discus (116’5”), and Carly Veach in the 300 Hurdles (49.23).

Cahokia won the team event with 120 points, Centralia was 2nd with 105 followed by Charleston, Mt Vernon and Mattoon.  Salem was 6th with 80 points just ahead of Nashville and Flora was 8th.
