An estimated 400 kids quickly made their way through ATVs and More in Salem Saturday morning to gather more than 14,000 eggs spread out throughout the building.

Marketing Director Curtis Denzik says this is the second year for the event.

“We spent the last two hours of our day on Friday night spreading out all of the eggs, hiding some and putting some just out in the open for the younger kids, and some more advanced hiding spots for the older ones,” Denzik said. “We had one last year where we had about 4000 eggs and we had an overwhelming response, and we had some kids not get eggs, so we went overboard this year to make sure that didn’t happen again.”

Denzik says the event is part of ATVs and More effort to give back to the community.

With parents, he estimates 800 to 1,000 turned out for the event.
