One driver was injured in a two-vehicle crash on US 50 near the Iuka Road on Thursday afternoon.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say a car driven by 20-year-old Bradley Cantrell of Kirby Road in Iuka was traveling westbound when he made a left turn into the Iuka General Store in front of an eastbound car driven by 42-year-old Julie Pottorff of Sixth Street in Flora.
Cantrell was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment. Pottorff and a passenger in the Bradley Cantrell car, 33-year-old Brian Cantrell, escaped injury.
The crash occurred at 2:55 Thursday afternoon. US 50 traffic was blocked during investigation and cleanup of the scene.
