Salem grad and Rend Lake College freshman Noah Nix was dominant early but John A Logan caught up to him in the fourth inning as the Volunteers beat the Warriors 14-4. Nix struck out 5 and walked just 1 giving up 6 runs on 7 hits in his 4 innings of work. Noah is 1-1 on the season and is throwing well for RLC in his first year on the collegiate mound.
