In 2a at Monticello, Tolono Unity senior Brayden Henry goes the length of the court in 5.7 seconds after TTown’s Issac Mcwhorter put the Shoes up 58-57 on a steal/layup, and Unity avenges 2 earlier season losses to TTown 59-58. TTown trailed by 9 in the fourth quarter before they would come back to take the lead. Mcwhorter finished with 23 and Gavin Addis added 11.
The Benton Rangers dominated from the opening tip as they won the Nashville Sectional beating Carterville 58-43. Benton will play at SIU-Carbondale on Monday night against Quincy Notre Dame.
