The Centralia Orphans unbelievable season came to an end last night as East St Louis came alive in the 2nd half and came back to beat Centralia 69-51.
Penn State recruit Jamison White had 21 points and 7 rebounds. Phillip Jones and Alex Johnson added 20 and 15 for the Flyers.
The Orphans led 28-26 at the half, but a 22-6 third for East St Louis gave them a lead they would not give away. Michael Organ had 14 with Jaxson Hancock and Kenny Bratton adding 10 each. The Orphans season ends at 32-2.
East St Louis improves to 30-4 and will face one-loss Decatur MacArthur at The Bank of Springfield Center.
