The Benton Rangers won the program’s 40th regional title winning at home over Murphysboro 36-35, Staunton beat the hosts at Carlinville 56-37, Breese Central won their 5th straight regional title winning at Columbia 46-29 over Mater Dei. Carterville knocked off the hosts at Massac County 47-45. TTown won the Robinson Regional dominating Newton 61-40, Roxana won their home regional over Marquette 39-31, Fairfield ended Vandalia’s fairytale run 67-56 in Vandalia.
In 4a, Edwardsville won at home beating Collinsville 61-43 and at O’Fallon, Alton beat Belleville East 59-48.
